The synergy between electricity and freshwater production was effective.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, if the <strong>CSP+FO solution<\/strong> studied in DESOLINATION is compared with the CSP+MED solution, assuming the same solar power plant and energy cycles, <strong>freshwater production is increased by over 40%<\/strong>.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_2,1_2&#8243;
