Presentata in italiano, la sua presentazione ha offerto una panoramica approfondita degli obiettivi del progetto e del suo impatto trasformativo. Il progetto DESOLINATION, finanziato nell\u2019ambito del programma Horizon 2020 dell\u2019Unione Europea, mira a affrontare le sfide della sostenibilit\u00e0 promuovendo tecnologie che combinano la produzione di energia rinnovabile con sistemi efficienti di desalinizzazione dell\u2019acqua. Con la sua presentazione, Gioele Di Marcoberardino ha sottolineato che il tema della desolvenza non si concentra solo sulla produzione di energia, ma affronta anche esigenze globali fondamentali come l\u2019accesso all\u2019acqua pulita e l\u2019efficienza delle risorse, pilastri essenziali per un futuro sostenibile. La sessione ha fornito ai partecipanti una visione approfondita di come soluzioni ingegneristiche interdisciplinari, come quelle sviluppate da DESOLINATION, contribuiscono agli obiettivi pi\u00f9 ampi di sostenibilit\u00e0 ambientale e innovazione. Inoltre, ha sottolineato l\u2019importanza della collaborazione tra istituzioni di ricerca, industria e societ\u00e0 per raggiungere questi ambiziosi obiettivi.
